Statement from an Eagle Scout, Aviation Badge Certification Leader:

“When it comes to allowing girls at overnight badge certifications, It’s difficult for it to be considered ‘fair’ because the boy may get to stay in the terminal while the girls have to stay in a completely different area. As well as, there has to be multiple female employees even when/if there is only one girl at the camp. Female instructors are needed because male camp leaders/instructors for the badge certification make them ‘uncomfortable’, so with that being said, if there are more females that want to participate, hopefully in the long run there will be an equally ‘fair/cool’ place.”
